Cherry Drying & frost Protection
Cherry drying and frost protection contracts are based on a first-come, first-serve basis and helicopter availability. Our pilots can fly helicopters at night in your orchard to save your crop from unexpected deep freezes.
Lohman helicopter can provide “Exclusive Use” contracts or we offer “Call When Needed” contracts to protect your orchards and farms.
During cherry drying season, we typically have 6 helicopters available for dispatch: Bell 206 Long Rangers, Bell 407, MD600, Bell 212, and the Robinson R44.

We had a great ride, very professional pilot and friendly instruction for safety. The views are amazing and provides a wider view of the great landscape and rock formations. Great photographs and videos were taken by all. Best seat in the house is at the front for those camera professionals, although all seats have the opportunity for some great shots. Pilot is knowledgeable about the river and landscape. Well worth the excitement, time and investment.
